LEAKED! - BMW Alpina B7 Biturbo appears ahead of Geneva

Can any owner of a BMW 7 Series feel there is something missing? If he does, he is possibly one of the clients Alpina aims to satisfy with the new B7 Biturbo, a car that continues to be very comfortable and sophisticated, but is also powerful. And it is not necessary to look to this leaked image of the car to be sure there is a lot of power on that!

The new car is equipped with a 4.4-litre V8 able to pump out 507 bhp and 700 Nm of torque. This huge sedan is able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7 s and to reach a top speed of 280 km/h, eletronically limited. If there was something missing in any 7 Series, now there is nothing to complain about apart from the price...

Renault Mégane III Sport Tourer appears with no disguise in Portugal

Car advertising shootings must normally be made in desert areas. When they are made in the streets of a big city such as Lisbon, in Portugal, there will always be a car lover with its camera ready to register the moment. This is what happened to Nando.PT when he saw the new Renault Mégane III Sport Tourer, about to be presented at the Geneva Motor Show, in the middle of a street in the Portuguese city.

The name Sport Tourer really represents the daring style of the new station wagon, with back lights that are transparent in some sections and a high "waist line" that promises a high performance vehicle. Engines should be the same ones used by Mégane III, or else, five petrol engines (two 1.6-litre units generating 100 bhp and 110 bhp, a 2-litre pumping out 140 bhp and two turbocharged engines, the 130 bhp 1.4TCe and the 180bhp 2.0TCe) and seven turbodiesel powerplants (all 1.5 dCi generating 85bhp, 90 bhp, 105 bhp, 110 bhp, 130 bhp, 150 bhp and 160 bhp). Dimensions and boot compartment capacity will only emerge next week, what is not that far.

Tata Nano will be officially presented on March 23; sales will begin in April

The cheapest car of the world, Tata Nano, has faced many problems to reach the market. The biggest one was a dispute with farmers over its first factory terrains, which led Tata leave the Singur plant when it was about to start production and to take it to Gujarat. Although the new plant is not ready yet, Nano will be produced in Pune and Pantnagar. And its official presentation is already scheduled for March 23.

Nano will be on display at Tata dealerships in India by the first week of April, while bookings will start by the second week of the same month. The most important question, the price, will be clarified on March 23. Nano was not supposed to have a base price over 1 Lakh (about US$ 2,500). Let's see if Tata can keep up with that promise.

I.DE.A Era Concept may hint future Abarth Roadster

Fiat and I.DE.A Institute have been partners for a long time. They have created cars that were hugely successful, such as Tipo. Now I.DE.A Institute intends to present a roadster concept car. Fiat has also recently announced it intends to create a new Abarth roadster. Could this be a sign the two companies are planning a new car together?

The Era Concept is not new, but Fiat's intention to have a high performance, low-weight sportscar with the Abarth label may point at the mass production of this concept. The car will be officially unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. Let's wait for more news both on Abarth's roadster and on Era Concept. These two ideas may be just one, afterall.
